Ancient Eclipse: The Format

It’s against the historical background just described that Ancient Eclipse takes place. This is a five-reel slot with four rows and fifty pay lines. The reels appear to be housed in a temple structure of grey stone, and if you look closely, you’ll see a few spears poking out from behind it.

The playing card suits of clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades serve as lower-value symbols. Three animals carved into stone blocks are worth more, and the higher value symbols are two ancient masks. A golden sun symbol is wild, and a colourful Warrior symbol acts as a scatter.

Atmospheric music plays as you spin the reels, and the whole game has a distinctly Incan feel about it.

Wild Eclipse Feature

As well as the symbols previously mentioned, there is also a moon symbol that can land on the reels on any spin. These will leave behind a Sun Frame, which remains in place from spin to spin. As the name of this feature suggests, any Sun Frame that is created will stick in place for the duration of the free spins round - even after a Wild Eclipse has been triggered.
