Bamboo Rush Launches Red Dragon Suite

Betsoft Gaming has announced the launch of a brand-new series of three games which has been specifically designed to appeal to online casino players in the Asian market. The first game in the series, which is being referred to as the Red Dragon Suite, is called Bamboo Rush, and subsequent titles that are scheduled for release later this year are Caishen’s Arrival and Dragon & Phoenix.

Bamboo Rush

Bamboo Rush is the title which launces the Red Dragon Suite, and it is a worthy game to take that honour. This slot has five reels, four rows, forty pay lines and an authentic natural theme which focuses on the life of a giant panda. The background artwork is superb, and depicts a tranquil environment where the bamboo plants grow tall, making it the perfect place for the giant panda to spend most of its time.

The backdrop is presented in soft focus for much of the game so that the five reels stand out more clearly. The symbols occupying those reels include the generic playing card ranks of 10, J, Q, K and A, golden coins, a Bamboo Rush logo, a lotus flower, a temple, a Yin-Yang symbol and the giant panda who takes centre stage. Other symbols used in the game include a golden panda scatter and a green bamboo wild. All symbols are stacked (except for the scatter) and are beautifully illustrated. The artists involved have clearly worked hard to make them look as realistic as possible rather than adopt a more humorous cartoon-style.

Modern slot developers pay as much attention to audio as they do to the visual content, and that is certainly the case here. A soundtrack of soothing Asian music plays in the background as you spin the reels, and the sound effects used to indicate special events blend into the overall theme very nicely.

Double Up Feature

Every win in the main game triggers a Double Up feature which gives you the opportunity to risk half or all of your winnings in an effort to double the gambled sum. You can obviously turn down this opportunity if you wish, but if you accept it you need only to predict whether a golden coin will show heads or tails when it is tossed. Choose correctly and you will double whatever amount you chose to risk.

The star feature in this game is the free spins round, which is triggered by getting three or more golden panda symbols on the reels at the same time. You can win as many as 20 free spins here, and if that isn’t enough to get you excited, all wild symbols in this part of the game will award a multiplier value of either x2 or x3.
